Tiffany Tran Evans was recognized at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE26) in Washington, D.C., where the award highlights early‑career professionals who demonstrate leadership, service, and a strong commitment to the water industry.
As highlighted in the award citation, Tiffany brings together technical expertise, policy insight, and leadership in addressing complex water challenges, including regional planning, drought response, and stakeholder engagement. Her dedication to advancing the industry and her peers sets her apart as a rising leader in the water sector.
“AWWA has been a huge part of my professional growth, and I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met and learned from along the way,” Tiffany shared. “It’s an honor to be part of this year’s cohort."
Tiffany has built a reputation for both technical strength and collaborative leadership at Brown and Caldwell. As a Water Resources Specialist, Utility Performance, she manages complex project deliverables, schedules, budgets, subconsultants, and client communications. Her work has supported municipal and regional water agencies through key efforts such as drought contingency planning, risk and resilience assessments, emergency response planning, and water supply strategies.
Beyond her project work, Tiffany has been an active AWWA member for more than seven years. Her involvement reflects a deep commitment to the profession and to supporting the next generation of water leaders. Through volunteer engagement, she has contributed to industry initiatives and built strong connections across the AWWA community.
Each year, AWWA presents the Outstanding Young Professional Award to five members age 35 or younger who are actively involved in young professional programs and demonstrate strong leadership potential in the water sector. Tiffany’s recognition is a meaningful milestone for Brown and Caldwell, which now has two professionals among the 30 individuals who have ever received this honor.
